The albums didn't get much attention, and Ford just vanished out of the scene for several years. She returned with a bang with her hit album 'Lita', which was released in 1988. The lead track "Kiss My Deadly" and ballad "Close My Eyes forever" were big hits. The problem was that her popularity was brief as she disappeared from the industry for several years. The album "Black" album debuted in 1995 and her 'Wicked Wonderland" released almost fifteen years later. The album "Time Capsule" was released by her in 2016. Guitar Player Magazine awarded her the Certified Guitar Legend Award.
