A cult American actor of the sixties at 6'3", big Nancy Kovack was mainly unforgettable for the males who were my age, for her role of Medea in the awesome action/fantasy picture Jason and the Argonauts. Her screentime in this movie is far less than our memories, but it is clear that the dance number that she performed was one of the most memorable scenes. To top it off it is believed that the Honor Blackman was commissioned to play an actor for the role of Bondgirl perhaps because they wanted her vocals recorded with a British accent. Nancy Kovack is a star in period movies in which the cast is all Shakespearian. It's obvious that she did not have any problem with having a conversation, like or with Tarzan as well as Batman. Even The Three Stooges. Was it Nancy Kovack's personality? Her characters' solid determination? Her gorgeous physique? Nancy said that for whatever reason she did not want to become a star in the film industry she preferred to be a supporting role. Her fifteen-year film career is filled with surprises and treasures.
